About the Blog

The Habit Tracker came about out my need to document my progress throughout the journey of changing my habits to become the person I’ve always wanted to be. In this blog, you will find personal stories, advice on what works for me, and links to research that I’ve come across and find helpful. You will also get to see how I handle issues as they arise (and there will be plenty) and thought process behind my solutions.

The Habit Tracker is not the end all be all for this topic, but I hope that it will serve as a tool to help you get to where you want to be in life.

About the Author

Hi, my name is Trinni, and I’m the voice behind The Habit Tracker. I’m a recent college graduate, just starting at my first “real” job. I’m a wife and a mother. When I was in college, my life was hell. This is especially true of the last year, when I was desperately trying to graduate while working 2 part time jobs, and helping my husband take care of our, then, one year old. You know that joke about moms and how they don’t ever have time to eat a hot meal or take a shower? Well that was me, but times a billion. During that last year, I got into some really bad habits. My hygiene was unthinkable; if it weren’t for family, my house would have looked like a tornado hit it; I gained about 40 lbs from eating fast food and drinking too much Starbucks, which also added to my debt; and I completely forgot how to take care of myself mentally. I was a wreck.

While I have gotten better since graduating, I’m still nowhere near  the place I want to be. In fact, part of me feels like I’m almost having to relearn how to be a human being. So, during the new year, I made a resolution to start taking active steps to becoming the person I’ve always dreamt of being.
